This covers all BoardX related products, schematics, and software that are not covered by some other license or provided by a third-party.

Derivative works and "clones"

Designers - help us protect our brand while fostering innovation by taking note of the following:

Absolutely NO derivative product or "clone" may (without prior written consent):

  • ...be marketed as if it were an official product from or endorsed by us in any way
  • ...use, display, duplicate or attempt to duplicate any of the BoardX or markings, branding or artwork, including PCB silkscreen graphics (with the exception of component names and electrical symbols).

Examples - ("Widget" and "Widget-X" are hypothetical third-party designs):

  • OKAY - "Widget" for BoardX
  • OKAY - "Widget" for BoardX Compatible Systems
  • OKAY - "Widget" (BoardX Compatible)
  • NOT OKAY - "Widget-X" for BoardX by

Photographs and other media

Photographs may be used when is credited and linked within visible range of the image on screen so as to be obvious of the source.

All text, unless stated otherwise, is owned and copywritten by and may not be re-used or copied without written authorization. That being said, we're open to all kinds of partnerships and re-use applications so just send us an email to get permission.
